SOCIAL media went abuzz after a video of a pupil controlling traffic circulated online.
In the video, the unknown young man is seen wearing school uniform and controlling traffic while standing in the middle of an intersection.
Two Tshwane Metro police vehicles can also be seen passing on the traffic controlled by the pupil.
Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) spokesman Isaac Mahamba told Daily Sun that they're aware of the video that is trending.
“We can confirm that the said vehicle belongs to the department and those members are indeed our employees. We have since identified them and we're in a process to request them to furnish us with statements to explain what happened on that day and we will take it from there, and we don't rule a possibility of internal disciplinary processes,” he said.
