MEN were happy and proud to dress and do makeup like women to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day on Sunday, 5 November.

The men celebrated the day in Lusaka in Mamelodi East, Tshwane.

They were waving to motorists, showing their joy dressed up like women.

They said they were family men, and their wives and children allowed them to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day.

The men also said they celebrate the day annually and are proud.

Tshiamo Sehodi (33) from Mamelodi East said it was a special day for them.

"We are showing this to young children that they must continue celebrating it. We wear women's clothes, and women wear men's clothes," he said.

Kagiso Mogwaneng (25) said they would keep it burning.

Bafana said they are real men and have families.
