A DELFT woman is shaken after her sister and brother-in-law were murdered on Tuesday, 15 November.

She said her sister’s three-year-old son arrived at her house crying with blood on his face and clothes.

“The boy was breathing fast and he couldn’t explain what was happening,” she said.

When the woman asked what happened, the boy could only say: “It’s mama”.

When she went to check, she found her sister (38) shot dead in bed with blood flowing all over.

She said when she walked to the kitchen, she found her sister’s husband (53) dead with bullet cartridges next to him.

“I still do not know what happened because no arrests have been made. I’m terrified and the little boy is traumatised,” she said. A neighbour who lives close by said she heard several gunshots before a Toyota Avanza fled from the scene.

She didn’t go to the house but instead called the cops.

Police spokesman Captain Frederick van Wyk confirmed the incident which he said happened in the Thubelitsha area in Delft.

“According to reports, SAPS members attended a double murder complaint and found two people in the house. Suspects and motive are unknown at this stage,” said Van Wyk.

Cops are calling for anyone with information about the double murder to contact CrimeStop on 08600 10111.
