MEMBERS of MK are expected to demonstrate outside the High Court in Durban on Wednesday, 27 March.

African National Congress (ANC) has taken its logo dispute with the newly formed  uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK) to court.

The two parties are caught up in a legal dispute over the use of the MK logo.

The ANC believes that the logo bears similarities to that of its military wing.

The ANC believes that the logo would confuse voters in the elections.

MK will therefore appear in the High Court in Durban on Wednesday, 27 March to defend the ANC’s application to stop MK from using the MK name and logo.

The ANC argues that the name MK and the logo used by the new political party belong to it.

Former president Jacob Zuma had announced in December 2023 that he would vote and campaign for the MK party.

And has been campaigning for MK, visiting various provinces and encouraging people to vote for the MK party.
