A QUARREL between a 71-year-old madala and his son ended in a horrific way.
This after the 28-year-old man from New Brighton, Eastern Cape, was arrested following the alleged murder of his elderly father on Monday, 31 October.

According to Colonel Priscilla Naidu, police received a complaint at about 12.45pm that the madala was fatally stabbed by his son after a quarrel.
“The suspect lived with his father, who sustained three stab wounds to his chest,” Naidu said.
She said the suspect was arrested at the scene and was detained on a charge of murder.
“He is expected to appear in the New Brighton Magistrates Court soon,” Naidu said.
