YOUNG children from Alexandra, east of Joburg enjoyed the ride of a lifetime in a limousine.

Sinothando Day Care grade R pupils were treated to an unforgettable time of their lives when they were driven in a limousine to their graduation ceremony.

On Saturday, 9 December, the grade R graduates were driven from the creche premises in Far East Bank to Skeen Primary School in Alexandra.

Sinothando Day Care principal Thandi Luruli said they bid farewell to 30 grade R pupils who will start primary school in 2024.

Thandi said she was touched when the kids screamed for joy when the limousine came to pick them up.

"It's difficult to describe the excitement felt by the children.

"Giving the experience of a limousine ride to the children was wonderful. They were excited to get on board and explore the limousine," said Thandi.

Thandi said the school has been organising the limousine to ferry their grade R pupils for the past two years.
