SILVERTON High School in Tshwane is on the verge of collapse. This is according to the Gauteng DA shadow MEC for education, Khume Ramulifho, who conducted an inspection of the school on Monday, 7 August.
He said pupils were at risk, especially when studying under the dilapidated building.
Ramulifho said that Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane has not kept his promise to repair the dilapidated building which is in danger of collapsing.
