PUPILS from different schools in Mukula Village, Limpopo, were left injured and traumatised.
This after a Sprinter scholar transport driver was shot and killed on Wednesday, 22 November.
It's alleged that the shocking incident happened while the driver was collecting one of the pupils.
The pupils claimed that they heard gunshots after the minibus stopped to pick up another pupil, and some of them even jumped out of the moving minibus.
Following the incident, pupils from two schools around the village were unable to write their exams after the gruesome killing of their driver.
Some were taken to the nearest hospital for trauma, while others were treated at the scene.
A 34-year-old aunt of a pupil told Daily Sun that they are still in shock over the incident as pupils were left injured.
"The pain is unexplainable because my sibling's son has been severely injured on the head. We are not sure whether they will recover soon as they were supposed to finish writing their exams," she said.

According to Limpopo police spokesman Hlulani Mashaba, upon arrival, the cops, along with Emergency Services personnel, discovered a Sprinter minibus parked on the side of the road.
"A man was found in the driver's seat with gunshot wounds while the learners were scattered on the ground. The suspect fled into the bushes and was not identified since it was still dark. The man was certified dead at the scene and was identified by his family as Rudzani Rambani (42). About six empty cartridges were found inside the minibus," said Mashaba.
He said the motive behind the shooting is unknown at this stage, and the police have since opened a murder case.
Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe has directed the station management to mobilise all resources to ensure that they apprehend the suspect.
"The police must work around the clock to apprehend all those responsible for the senseless killing. We simply cannot allow our communities to be terrorised by criminals," said Hadebe.
