THE killing of a spaza shop worker sent shockwaves through the community of Itsani Village in Limpopo.

Four armed men allegedly ambushed the spaza shop, robbed money and shot dead Temesgen Shukure (29), an Ethiopian foreign national.

A few customers stood in disbelief as the horrific events unfolded on Friday, 13 October at about 3pm.

A customer who witnessed the incident told Daily Sun that a white Polo without number plates stopped near the shop.

"I was so scared when it happened. The suspects quickly entered the shop, robbed money and then shot the man when he called for help,” the witness said.
