A MAN who has identified himself as pastor MS Budeli charges R20 000 to meet God in heaven.

In a poster that has since been circulating on social media, not only is the pastor charging for a meet and greet with God on Christmas Day, he’s also charging R10 000 to get married the next day.

The poster has his picture and behind him are clouds.

It also contains his contact details and time of the worship conference to be held on Christmas Day. However, the venue is not provided.

Other items in the poster include R5 000 to cancel all your debts, R20 000 to be protected from crime, another R20 000 to see your future in your phone and R300 000 to win aviator game.

CRL Rights Commission spokesman Mpiyakhe Mkholo said the commission has managed to track down the man behind the poster and is in the process of getting him to appear before it.

According to the commission, the man said he is not a pastor but a graphic designer.

Daily Sun also managed to get hold of the man whose name is Murunwa Budeli.

The 24-year-old man from Limpopo said the poster was a “joke” and aimed to serve as a marketing strategy for their designs.

He said there’s another poster circulating of this nature with a picture of his friend.

“It was my friend’s idea to create a poster like this to attract potential customers and post it on social media. We now know that this was a bad idea and deeply regret it,” said Murunwa.

He said for the past few days, his phone has been ringing non-stop, including calls from angry religious organisations.

“At first, we carried on with the joke when we received calls from random people asking if truly, we are capable of performing those services. We later realised that we could end up in trouble. I would like to sincerely apologise to God and the public. I’m not a pastor but passionate about graphic design. I’m not a scammer and we didn’t mean to cause any harm,” said Murunwa.

He said he was willing to stand before the commission and further extend his apologies.
