A WOMAN was allegedly assaulted with a bottle by her ex-boyfriend on Friday, 30 September.
The incident happened at a primary school in Welkom, Free State, when the 30-year-old woman went to collect her child from school.

The parents had an argument and the ex-boyfriend allegedly hit the woman with a bottle and she collapsed.
He then took the daughter away.
The woman later reported the matter to the cops, and the ex-boyfriend was arrested.
The woman said she now has a huge scar on her face, and can’t go anywhere.
She said the cops who attended the scene allegedly accused her of denying her baby daddy quality time with his daughter.
“They didn’t know the real story. I was surprised when I saw my baby daddy at police station, claiming to lay criminals charges against me. He had a bleeding wound on his hand and lied that I beat him up. “The police threatened to arrest me. My life is in danger because this is not the first attack,” she said. I have a strong belief the attack was premeditated.
“I’m still traumatised and call for no bail for him,” she said.
