On weekends, members of Germany Masters perform on the busy streets of Katlehong, Thokoza, Villa Lisa and Spruitview in Ekurhuleni.
Group leader Mosa Rabapane (20) said he started Germany Masters to help the youth whose parents are unemployed.
He said some of their members used to go to bed on empty stomachs because their parents struggled to provide for them.
"We perform to entertain motorists in a bid to get help.
"We have bought school shoes for one of our members since we started performing on the streets last month," Mosa said.
He said they use the money they get from motorists to buy school uniforms for their members.
“We also share part of money to give to our parents to buy food at home,” he said.
Mosa said the group keeps the youth away from the streets.
