Outcry over toddler attacked by woman.

THOUSANDS of social media users are shocked after an alarming video went viral online.

In the video, a woman is seen assaulting a toddler while the helpless boy is seen crying from pain.

Many social users including celebrities shared their thoughts by commenting on the shared video.

Themba Masango, co-founder and secretary general of #NotInMyName told Daily Sun that they are disgusted and angered by what they saw.

“Whatever the reason she might have had, it is completely evil and barbaric for somebody to abuse a child let alone shoot a video,” he said.

He said they call upon powers and for justice to be served on the woman.

“What’s most important here is that we need to look at the child and make sure that he is safe and make sure that the child is not abused ever again. It is shocking that someone that calls themselves a mother can do this to a child,” he said.

Rapper Gigi Lamagne wrote: “I’m funding the lawyer who wants to take that Nthabiseng hun to jail. Hmu asap.”

Actor, Sello Maake kaNcube labelled the woman as ruthless.

SewelaNkoana wrote: “That video. I couldn’t even wait for her to kick that child twice. One kick was enough for me to close it. I don’t know what happens more into it but just the intro alone is painful to watch. How can a mother do that to a baby. An innocent soul with a pure heart,”

When Daily Sun enquired with Gauteng police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo he said: “I haven't received any report from the police stations in Gauteng about such a complaint.”
