THREE families are having sleepless nights following the mysterious disappearance of their loved ones.
Sphiwe Kubeka (30), Tshepiso Jansen (33) and Given Mnguni (38) from Etwatwa in Ekurhuleni, disappeared on 15 December 2023, and to this day their families don’t have a clue of their whereabouts.
"We hear different stories with others claiming they were kidnapped by MaRussia," said one of the relatives, Sibongile Mnguni.
Tshepiso's uncle, Vusi Jansen, said he was told his nephew left with a wheelbarrow and tools to do a garden at one of the houses nearby.
"When I came back from work, he was not there. We are told he was joined by his friends, but nobody knows where the three went," said Vusi.

"We've been searching for them without success. We're not sure if they're still alive or not, " he said.
Sphiwe's mum, Maria Kubeka, said her son just left home saying he was coming back but never returned.
"I don't sleep at night wondering where Sphiwe could be and whether he's still alive," she said.
Sibongile Mnguni said her husband Given is one of the three missing men.
"He left with his friends and like other families, I've been searching for him without success," she said.
The three families have been supportive of each other and working together to search for their loved ones.
Captain Nelda Sekgobela of Ekurhuleni district police said cops are investigating three cases of missing persons.
"Police are working around the clock to find them," she said.
