SEVERAL people will appear in various court across the country on Monday, 4 March.
Murder accused, Sandile Mbatha will appear in the Joburg High Court on Monday, 4 March.
His case was postponed to Monday due to the unavailability of a presiding judge.
Mbatha is accused of killing two Soweto boys, Tshidiso Ramatlo and Katleho Letseli for allegedly stealing VW polo lights in Diepkloof Soweto.
In KZN, during the court appearance of former eThekwini mayor, Zandile Gumede on Tuesday, 27 February, a witness testified that the investigating officer led a witness to implicate the accused during an unplanned meeting they had.
The witness from the tender department at the eThekwini Municipality told the court that the investigating officer called her to a filing room where she was questioned about a letter she had written.
Judge Sharmaine Balton adjourned the matter to Monday.

Murder accused, Velly Thwala (39) who refused to take the stand and give evidence of the confession statement he made will re-appear in Mbombela High Court on Monday for further trial.
Thwala is accused of assaulting his lover to death.
His lover, Nontobeko Msithini's lifeless body was found stuffed in a bag by community members who had seen Thwala push a trolley with a bag and blood dripping from it. They cornered him and he indicated that he was carrying the carcass of his troublesome pit bull.
The murder trial of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa is set to resume on Monday. This after it was postponed by the North Gauteng High Court on Friday, 16 February. The adjournment was to allow for final arguments to be presented before judgment is delivered.
Before the case was postpone, the defence lawyers were poking holes in the admissibility of confession statements allegedly made by Muzi Sibiya, who is accused one and accused two, Bongani Ntanzi.
Both men were taken to the witness stand where they were cross-examined by the state prosecutors.
First, it was George Baloyi who led the cross-examination and in the days that followed it was his colleague Ronnie Sibanda. Sibiya and Ntanzi claimed the police assaulted them and forced to sign confession statements. These confession statements are valuable evidence for the state, which wants the court to admit them in the main trial.
The lead investigator, Brigadier Bongani Gininda denied there was any torture or assault and claimed both suspects made statements freely and voluntarily.
Loyiso Nkohla’s murderer is set to appear before court for bail application.
Loyiso was murdered on 17 April 2023 while addressing a community meeting in Philippi. Since then, cops have managed to track the suspected killers, while the suspected mastermind, Thobani Maxengana died in jail cells in East London on 16 November 2023 after he was arrested the previous day.
