MTHUNZI O Muhle Group, Mthunzi Sports and Thulamahashe Football Association handed over referee kits at Thulamahashe New Stadium in Mpumalanga on Sunday, 24 December to support Bushbuckridge football referees. 

The brand new sets of uniforms were donated by the Mthunzi O Muhle Group, the official sponsor of Thulamahashe Football Association league called Mthunzi O Muhle Soccer League. 

Mthunzi O Muhle Group CEO,  Adam Sibuyi told the media he was a proud supporter of football in Bushbuckridge at community and grassroots levels and also at elite and professional levels.

“The beautiful game with beautiful referees brings communities together. Whatever province, ethnic group or community, everyone - men, women, boys and girls – can enjoy playing and supporting football,” he said.

Thulamahashe Football Association spokesman, Jonathan Mathebula said Thulamahashe Football Association looked forward to continued cooperation and football diplomacy with Mthunzi O Muhle Group.

“We can learn a lot from each other at all levels of the game. Football is the heartbeat of Bushbuckridge,” he said.

Thulamahashe Football Association's referee association's Manager Sihlangu welcomed the donation of shirts, shorts and socks.

“Developing our referees’ professionalism and skills is one of the most important factors in building the sport and these football referee uniforms will be vital," said Sihlangu.
