THATO Ralesite (2) from Myra Village near Pudimoe in the North West, who was reported missing on Saturday, has been found dead.

Her uncle Phineas Ralesite said: "The last time we checked, Thato was playing with her sisters, who are also young, on Saturday, 19 August at about 5pm.

"We then saw a strong wind coming up and suddenly her sisters came home saying they had left Thato behind. When we went to look for her, she was nowhere to be found."

Provincial police spokeswoman Colonel Adele Myburg said Thato's body was discovered by a passerby in the field in Myra Village near Pudimoe at about 6pm on Tuesday, 22 August.

"A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance," Myburg said.
