A FATHER has accused his ex-wife of accepting a R500 bribe from a man who allegedly raped their daughter.
The dad from Mpheni in Limpopo said their 19-year-old daughter suffers from epilepsy and he initially thought she had gone missing only to discover she was allegedly raped.
He even claimed that the mother took the girl to a doctor four days after she was raped to destroy evidence. He also claimed that his ex-wife has since blocked him.
Speaking to Daily Sun, the father said: “She was raped twice and this time it happened on Friday, 17 November, but her mother only took her to a doctor after four days. It pains me a lot because my ex-wife sold my daughter for sex for a mere R500."

He also mentioned that his ex-wife forced their daughter to drop out of school without consulting him.
“I feel like I failed as a father because my daughter is no longer safe with her mother,” he said.
The dad expressed surprise at his ex-wife's claim that their daughter had three boyfriends.
“It doesn't make sense to me due to her medical condition as she still thinks and talks like a child,” he said.
Vhembe police spokesman Sergeant Vuledzani Dathi confirmed that an enquiry case docket was being investigated by the SAPS' Makhado Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit.
“The alleged rape victim was taken to the doctor, but no evidence of rape (penetration) was found. The police are currently investigating the enquiry docket and it will be submitted to the DPP for a decision,” said Dathi.
