SEVEN people have died in a bus accident on the N3 near Paulpietersburg, in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday, 25 February.

According to Arrive Alive, emergency services are busy on the scene where a bus left the road and overturned.

Multiple emergency services are treating approximately 70 injured patients.

It is claimed that the occupants were ANC members returning from the manifesto launch that was held at Moses Mabida Stadium on Saturday, 24 February.

The accident has been described as a "disaster" by emergency services department.
