FOUR more suspects linked to the KwaZakhele mass murder were arrested on Monday, 27 March.
Police pounced on the suspects while hiding at Peelton Village outside Qonce in the Eastern Cape.
The first suspect, aged 33, was arrested at Walmer in Port Elizabeth on 3 March.
The four suspects, aged between 30 and 34, will appear in court together with the 33-year-old suspect on 3 April.
The case against the accused was postponed for formal bail application when they made a brief appearance in the dock for the mass murder in the New Brighton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 29 March.
The five suspects were bust in connection with the murder of eight people killed during a birthday celebration in KwaZakhele on 29 January.

A total of seven people died on the scene, while another person later succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
Police spokesman Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana said: "The suspects were arrested after the lead investigator received information on the whereabouts of the four outstanding suspects, who escaped during the arrest of the first suspect in Walmer.
"They were hiding in Peelton location where the police found them. The first suspect is currently in St Albans Prison and due to return in court on 3 April for a formal bail application with his co-conspirators," he said.
Community Safety MEC Xolile Nqatha called for the justice system to work together towards a successful prosecution against the suspects.
“We are by no means convicting the five men, but we are saying to the courts, there’s evidence pointing to these men. We know for sure that a gruesome crime was committed, eight people were killed in cold blood, and there should be justice for the victims,” said Nqatha.
