THE only thing that a gogo needs and prays for is a safe and comfortable home where she can live with her grandchildren.
But instead of giving her a house, the 101-year-old gogo Esnes Bele from KwaMashu J section, north of Durban, was thrown a huge party by the ward councillor, Mafiki Mkhize.
The gogo said she was thrown a party at her home in 2022 and promised a new house, but she is still waiting. She said she wishes to get a house before she dies.
