A 28-YEAR-OLD woman from Joburg wants justice after she was gang raped at a graveyard on Wednesday, 12 April.

She told Daily Sun that she had never seen these men before in her life and hopes that the cops will find them.

The woman said she wanted to make people aware of the criminal activities that take place at the graveyard.

She said she had visited her grandfather's grave to clean it when the incident happened at about 1pm and she did not see it coming.

The woman told Daily Sun that she was warned about the cemetery, but she didn't think anything would happen because it was in broad daylight.

She said that two men approached her, and when they got to her, they grabbed her and demanded that they take a walk. One of them had a knife and threatened to stab her if she screamed.

"They took me to another part of the graveyard where they began to rape me. Two more men came, they took turns and left me there. "I immediately went to the Johannesburg Central Police Station to open a case. They also took me to the hospital for some tests," she said.

The woman said she was shocked by the whole incident and couldn't even cry. But when she got home, her boyfriend (37) realised she wasn't well.

When he asked what was wrong, she broke down and told him what had happened.

Her boyfriend said: "She has not been well since the incident and I hope police will find them before I do, because there's no telling what I will do to them."

Gauteng police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo said a case of rape was opened and no arrests have been made yet.

Mavele urged SunReaders to help with information that could help put the culprits in jail.
