A HIKER has allegedly slipped and drowned in a stream in Tshwane on Thursday, 21 March 2024.

According to Tshwane Emergency Services spokesman deputy chief Charles Mabaso, the incident happened around 12.30pm.

He said a body of a man aged between 25 and 30 years was recovered from a stream.

Mabaso said the City of Tshwane's Emergency Services Department was notified of a drowning incident at Nkwe Permaculture in Tierpoort, east of Tshwane.
