THE daring thug waited for residents to sleep and in the middle of the night, he came armed with a pick and shovel to dig out the cable from the church yard.
But a gogo who woke up to pray heard that someone was busy digging outside.
Instead of blowing a whistle as it could alert him to flee, she informed residents in community's WhatsApp group about the thug who was digging out the cable inside the AME church yard in Bekkersdal, Gauteng on Wednesday night, 21 February.
