AUTHOR and motivational speaker Gail Motloung believes she was born to inspire!

The 30-year-old from the Vaal said she was born with a gift of changing lives using her writing.

“I’ve written five books in total and my latest two are: Daddy I’m Yours, Until You Hand Me Over, a book about the impact a father makes in a child’s life. Then the other one is titled Self-Development Guide, which I wrote as a practical guide for those struggling with self-doubt, self-discipline and consistency, who have a need to reach their full potential, have the need to get out of their comfort zone, want to improve their mindset and eliminate self-doubt.”

Gail said she was an all-round author, publisher, TV show host and the founder of Girl with a Purpose Foundation, a non- profit organisation that aims to empower, equip and inspire young people.

“I have been in the publishing business for six years now. It has truly been a beautiful experience to help other authors ink their dreams,” she said.

“I wrote my first book when I was in matric and the aim was to motivate my fellow classmates prior to writing our final exams. That is when I realised the impact my booklet had,” Gail said.

The author said she decided to share with other young people just to motivate them to believe in themselves.

“I wanted people to believe in the power of their dreams and this is what inspired me to write more. I didn’t start because I am a great writer. I’m still learning till this day.”

The presenter said she started because of her passion to empower others. She said she loved music and singing, and plans to release a single.

“This one is dedicated to my son. I wrote a lot of songs while expecting him,”she said.
