The torching of trucks along Mzansi's major roads continues.
This after four more trucks were set alight in Mpumalanga in the early hours of Wednesday, 12 July.
The four trucks were burnt on the N2 toll road between Piet Retief and Ermelo. The road remains closed.
Mpumalanga police spokesman Brigadier Selvy Mohlala confirmed that the trucks were torched early this morning. Mohlala said police are currently attending the scene.
The latest torching incident has brought the total number of trucks burnt since the beginning of last weekend to 20.
On Sunday, five trucks were set alight in Waterval Boven, Mpumalanga.

According to the police, four trucks were going uphill from the Mbombela towards Machadodorp, while the other truck travelled towards Mbombela in the opposite direction.
It is alleged that two trucks, a light delivery truck and a sedan with five occupants, stopped the trucks and instructed the drivers to take their personal belongings before setting the trucks on fire.
Meanwhile, eleven trucks were set alight between Monday and Wednesday in KZN and Limpopo.
Police Minister Bheki Cele is set to brief the media regarding the recent attacks on trucks.
