A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Alexandra Magistrates Court for raping his daughter. 

He was sentenced on Friday, 1 September after he pleaded guilty to raping his 17-year-old biological daughter.

The father started raping his daughter from May 2022 until January 2023. He had called her from Zimbabwe to come and help her aunt with her newborn baby.
