TWO suspects were arrested for alleged kidnapping and house robbery.

She said the man claimed that stolen items were worth R50 000.

"The suspects kidnapped the complainant and took him to an undisclosed place in Daveyton, where the victim managed to escape," Thepa said.

Thepa said EMPD officers received information on the whereabouts of two male suspects wanted for arrest.

"The information was traced, and the first suspect was cornered at Quantum section of Etwatwa and the stolen items, a microwave, belonging to the victim were recovered.

"The suspect took the officers to the second suspect at Extension 2 Garden Village section of Daveyton, and the duo was immediately arrested," Thepa said.

Thepa said the suspect appeared in the Daveyton Magistrates Court on Friday, 13 October and the matter was postponed to Thursday, 26 October.
