EFF MEMBER of Parliament, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi told residents of Mamelodi East in Tshwane that EFF is their only hope.

On Sunday, 28 January, Ndlozi listened to residents' issues before addressing them.

He said most service delivery problems are mainly caused by tenders and called for the end of tenders. He said 30 years into democracy, Mamelodi residents should be talking about the fourth industrial revolution, not water tanks.

"The ANC government has taken water from residents," he said.

He said every household in Tshwane will have water tanks because they are beneffiting individuals.

"Tenders are killing service delivery to the people. There are corrupt admistrators in Tshwane," he said.

Ndlozi said it's important to insource workers and employ them permanently. He said tenders have crippled the local state and people are killing each other for them.

"They even beat each other in meetings. People want to benefit and have water tank businesses. They collaborate with administrators in the municipality and sabotage the system," he said.

He said instead of fixing broken pipes, they bring water tanks, which make money for them rather than fix the infrastructure. He said it's the reason there is a loadshedding in South Africa because people sabotage power stations.

He said the tender system must end.

"Tshwane uMnicipality is the most corrupt municipality in the country. We must support the township economy and the tenderpreneur will not build it," he said.

He said people in Mamelodi are living the same life as villagers because they don't have water.

Ndlozi said in 2024, people must vote the ANC, DA, and ActionSA out.
