Don’t play me for papgeld!

THE mother of his two kids allegedly cheated on him while he was in jail.

And now the 43-year-old man from KwaThema in Ekurhuleni suspects one of the kids is not his and the woman pulled ijazi on him.

The man even made appointments for DNA tests but his girlfriend (38) refuses to go.

He told Daily Sun he became suspicious when the woman posted something on Facebook some time ago.

“We had an argument and she went on social media to say ‘the father of my child dumped me because I was out having fun’.

“It raised eyebrows because we have two kids and she said a child instead of children,” said the man.

He said when he asked the woman about the post, she gave him lame excuses.

The man, who was arrested for housebreaking, said he once called his girlfriend while he was in prison and her phone was answered by a man.

“I became angry and when I asked who the man was, she told me it was a mashonisa she borrowed money from,” he said.

He said after he was released, they had another argument and the woman left his home to move back in with relatives.

He found a job in 2021 and the woman opened a child maintenance case against him.

He has been paying maintenance but he’s not satisfied.

“What if I’m paying papgeld and one of the children is not mine? I want her to come clean and go for DNA tests,” he said.

“If all the children are mine, I will keep supporting them. The thing is, I don’t want to be played.”

The girlfriend said she had no problem submitting herself and her two children for DNA tests.

“We did one previously and it proved he was the father but he says he doesn’t trust it and wants to do private tests,” she said.

She denied cheating on her boyfriend while he was in jail.

“How did he see all that? That’s his business,” she said.
