A SENSE of deja vu is in the air as many parties on the ballot paper repeat promises outlined in their manifestos.

Their promises have become all too familiar for communities struggling to get basic services. 

Political songs and dance are taking centre stage as party campaigns intensify before the 2024 national and provincial elections. 

With the May 29 elections looming, party leaders were seen this past weekend crisscrossing the nation, engaging with community members and addressing their concerns.
