CYCLIST Meli Ndlovu (42) arrived in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe on Wednesday, 20 December 2023.
This was after he left Mzansi at 7am on Monday 18 December 2023.
The 42-year-old native Zimbabwean cycled 865 kilometres from Midrand Boulders in Joburg to Bulawayo. His mission was to give awareness on drugs.
"The aim of his bike ride was to say no to drugs. #Stay away from drugs," he said.
According to Meli, he has been cycling since 2012, but it was not until 2020 that he cycled to Zimbabwe.
Meli, who lives in Kaalfontein in Midrand, said he wanted to focus on his nursing studies soon.
He said he was grateful for all the cyclists who accompanied them along the way.
