MEN, like women, love looking good as it boosts their confidence and makes them feel good.
At least that's what the CEO of Destiny Group, Titus Makoro, believes.
“We want to do away with the narrative that grooming is only for women. Men can equally groom and it brings so much excitement and confidence,” he told Daily Sun.
Makoro was speaking at the launch of Destiny Beauty School on Saturday, 28 October.
They launched Destiny Academy Beauty School at Eloff Extension in Joburg, at the venue previously known as Pyramid Beauty School.
He said the idea of this school was to try and manage the challenges in the country such as the lack of employment.
Makoro said their company had big plans to bring life to the area by turning the place into a precinct.

“It’s a far cry because we are moving away from the old economy, and we are planning to revive the area," he said.
He said Jozi was rich in history and it was important to plough back into so many more people may be drawn to invest
He said the precinct would consist of entertainment, a conference venue, a spa facility, a retail restaurant, a huge space for entertainment and hosting different types of events.
Banele Dlamini, who was among the people who attended the event, said grooming played a major role in maintaining one's high self-esteem and self-confidence.
“It helps you as a man to have confidence because many of them they don't trust themselves. Manicures are very important for healthy nails and massages are for everyone, men and women. They help to decrease stress by lowering the heart rate and relaxing muscles,” he said.
