A 41-YEAR-OLD murder accused appeared in the Brits Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 12 March.
The case was postponed to Tuesday, 19 March, for a bail application.
Mmapula Malebye's body was found in a dumping site in Majakaneng on Saturday, 2 March, following a missing persons search by community members.
It's alleged that the Mmapula and the suspect, who lived together in Majakaneng, had a quarrel on Thursday night, 29 February.
Mmapula's sister called her sister, but she didn't answer, and she became worried.
On Saturday, 2 March, the sister took the police to the couple's place but didn't find her. That's when the community members searched for Mmapula.

Mmapula's brother, Gabafetse Malebye, hoped that her sister's death would teach women to speak up.
"The accused must never get bail. He deserves a lengthy sentence," Gabafetse said.
"We're left in deep pain, but I thank God that my sister's body was found.
"We had expected a lot from Mmapula because she still had goals to achieve. A heartless man cut short her bright future. I wish her spirit would hunt him every day," he said.
