COPS in Kraaifontein, Cape Town are on a hunt for a taxi driver who allegedly raped, kidnapped and assaulted a woman before leaving her naked three months ago.
The incident happened on 30 September when the woman was going to Bloekombos.
The woman was alone in the taxi after other passengers disembarked at their drop-off points.
Instead of taking the woman to her house, the taximen changed direction and went towards Botterlary where he parked the taxi in a secluded area and raped the woman.
Since then, cops have been hunting for the suspect.
Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said anyone with information should contact Detective Warrant Officer Vatishwa Tsotso.

“Kraaifontein family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit is seeking the assistance of the public to trace the person depicted in the attached facial composition.
“The person of interest, a taxi driver, can assist in the investigation of rape, kidnapping and attempted murder cases.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that on Saturday 30 September 2023, the victim was travelling by taxi to Bloekombos.
"On the way, the driver drove in the direction of Bottelary Road where he assaulted the victim, raped her and left her naked in the bushes.
“She later managed to walk to a nearby restaurant where the personnel assisted her with transport to Kraaifontein SAPS where she reported her ordeal,” said Swartbooi.
