POLICE in Cape Town are hunting for thugs who robbed a bus in Gugulethu on Saturday afternoon, 16 September.
A video that has gone viral shows six men walking to a bus pretending to be commuters.
As soon a s they enter the bus, one points at the driver with a big gun as the other two walks in holding bags. It appears they're demanding that the commuters put their phones in the bags.
The robbery happened in less than two minutes as shown in the video.
The group walked out of the bus just after the act.
Golden Arrow Bus Services spokeswoman Bronwen Dyke-Beyer said they were aware of the incident, and an investigation was underway.
“Golden Arrow can confirm that the footage forms part of an active investigation related to a robbery which took place on September 16,” said Dyke-Beyer.

Police spokesman Joseph Swartbooi said the suspects had not been arrested.
“According to reports, the complainant in the matter, employed at a local transport company as a driver, was driving in NY 3A in Gugulethu on Saturday at around 12.30pm.
"Unknown males entered the vehicle, threatened the complainant and forced him to stop the vehicle," said Swatbooi
He said the suspects robbed all the passengers of their cellphones, cash and valuables at gunpoint.
"The suspects then disembarked, fled the scene and are yet to be arrested. The motive for this attack is robbery. Gugulethu police registered a case of robbery with a firearm for further investigation," Swatbooi added.
