AFTER years of feeling ignored regarding concerns about the state of Mzansi's economy, well-known businessman Bongani Majola (49) has taken matters into his own hands.
Majola from Melmoth in KZN launched his own political party called All Nation Movement (ANM) in Durban on Saturday, 11 November.
Having been in the business industry since 2007, Majola secured IEC approval for the ANM in August, officially admitting it in September.
Majola said his party is ready to contest the 2024 general election nationally and in all nine provinces.
He told Daily Sun that although the campaign will be short for them, but according to their groundwork in all provinces, they have big confidence that they will get better results after the elections.

“The main reason we launched this political party was that we realised that if you are not in politics your voice can’t be heard by the government. All races are welcome in our party.
“As a voter, I've tried to raise my concerns about Mzansi's economy many times but what the government did is to promise and not deliver,” he said.
Majola said what hurt him the most is that political parties fight each other instead of improving people's lives.
He said it's hard for ordinary citizens to have ideas on how the country's economy can be developed because the government doesn't listen to them.
“We want to end this habit of government leaders only going to the people when they want votes and then disappear. We want to teach our people how much power their votes have,” Majola said.
He said he didn’t join politics for money, but he wanted to change people's lives and give them economic freedom.
