GOGOS feared for their lives as six gunmen robbed the Mkhuhlu Post Office of its cash.

The attack, near the Calcutta cop shop in Mkhuhlu near Hazyview, Mpumalanga, happened around midday on Wednesday after the cash-in-transit vehicle dropped off the money meant for South African Social Security Agency pension payments. The gang fled in a white Toyota VVTI bakkie.

A gogo (87) said they’re grateful to be alive.
