TWO men accused of killing a Soweto doctor will make their second appearance in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 2 April.
Gordon Matwetwe Muningi (50) and Tebogo Rufus Thutlwa (48) are linked to the murder and robbery of Dr Michael Isabelle. The incident happened at the doctor's surgery in Dobsonville, Soweto on 26 February after three men had pretended to be seeking medical attention for their friend.
It's alleged that while inside the consultation room, the accused attacked the doctor and a shoot-out ensued, leading to the death of the doctor. They then fled the scene using a car belonging to the receptionist.
The accused were arrested on 21 March, and it's believed that one of the assailants died later after being shot during the robbery incident at the surgery.
