A WOMAN was killed in a hail of bullets on Bierman Road in Vosloous, Ekurhuleni, on Sunday, 5 November.
Gauteng police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed the incident and said police had opened a case of murder.
"It's reported that the deceased was driving when she was shot at by suspects who were driving parallel to her," he said.

"The circumstances surrounding a shooting incident where a woman was shot and killed is under investigation," he said.
He said the motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
Masondo appealed to anyone who might have information that could help in the investigation or assist in the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station or call crime to stop on 08600 10111.
