CHRISTMAS came early for the children of Sam Ngema Street in Interland, KwaThema.
This after the residents stormed spaza shops owned by aboMyfriend (foreign nationals). The kids took advantage of the situation and helped themselves to sweets, snacks, drinks and other goodies.
And some residents were worried whether they might get sick from it.
A concerned resident said: "The protest was supposed to protect them from expired snacks, but here they are."
On Friday, 20 October, KwaThema residents in Ekurhuleni went around closing shops owned by foreign nationals. They accused them of selling expired goods.
