HE took his brother's clothes and borrowed his friends.

When his older brother found out what he did, all hell broke loose.

A young man (19) was beaten to a pulp by his older brother (35) in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni for taking his clothes without his permission.

According to the Ekurhuleni EMPD police spokeswoman Lieutenant-Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, the suspect (35) was arrested on Wednesday, 6 December for assaulting his brother.

"The 19-year-old victim was fast asleep at the time of the incident and claimed that his elder brother stormed into his bedroom and accused him of borrowing his friend's his clothes without his permission.

"After the beating, the injured victim went to the Daveyton Police Station to open case of assault before going to the clinic for medical treatment," Thepa said.

She said the suspect was arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault.
