MALE nurse Bongani Mdluli (41) was killed instantly when he lost control of his car on the busy Manyeleti Road and crashed into a fence of the nearby Andover Nature Reserve in Acornhoek, near Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga on Saturday, 5 August.
His shocked sister Karabo Thete (24) said she received a call from the police that her brother, a nurse at the Thulamahashe Health Centre Clinic, had died in a horror accident.
She said she and her mum Norah Mathebula quickly rushed to the scene and on arrival were greeted by police and paramedics who flooded the scene.

"We could not believe our eyes when we arrived at the scene. Our brother Bongani was still behind the wheel in his car and was pinned by the fence. But he had no scratch and no visible wounds, and his seat belt was still fastened.
"The paramedics certified that he was already dead. He was on his way back home from a relative's funeral in Hluvukani in the Manyeleti area in Thulamahashe," she said.
Mpumalanga health spokesman Dumisani Malamule sent his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
"It is heartbreaking to lose a life and even worse to lose a health worker whose main job is to save the lives of our people," he said.
