SEVEN suspects have been arrested for the murder of veteran publisher Jeremy Gordin.
The retired journalist was killed during a robbery at his home in Parkview, Johannesburg on Friday, March 31.
The suspects arrested are between the ages of 33 and 42.
Gauteng police spokeswoman Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said this arrest was led by intelligence gathered by provincial detectives, the Johannesburg East Trio, and private security companies.

“The first suspect was arrested on Wednesday, 12 April while driving the deceased stolen motor car in Auckland Park. Further investigations led to the arrest of six more suspects later during that day,” she said.
Jeremy was a fearless giant, he took over the reins as a caretaker editor-in-chief of Daily Sun in 2012 to hold the fort until somebody could be permanently appointed.
“Beneath the much-needed swagger and bravado was a well-honed, incisive intellect and a very big, very humble heart,” his industry colleagues said.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on charges of murder, house robbery, possession of suspected stolen property, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
