"WE had a chance to chat but not about everything."
Those were the words of Young Stinna, reflecting on the encounter with his idol.
Digital creator Leno "Young Stinna" Mazive (27) from Kraaifontein, Cape Town, finally got to perform with Young Stunna on Friday, 5 April, at Chippa’s place in Cape Town.
Young Stinna was contacted by event organiser Bandile Ludwaba who wanted him to meet his idol.
“I was told to arrive early before Young Stunna. They gave me a nice spot in the VVIP section where I can relax and wait for my idol. When he was about to perform, they told me to introduce him.

“We spoke but not about everything. He was happy to see me, he also gave me a hug. When he was performing, his team asked me to join him. I refused but I ended up joining him when he was performing his last song,” said Young Stinna.
He said he used to see Young Stunna on videos and seeing him in person was special.
"I still can't believe because I used to see him on videos, seeing him perform live was incredible, and he's friendly as you see him on the videos."
The event organiser said he knew it was Young Stinna's dream to meet Young Stunna, and wanted it to be a surprise.
He mentioned that Young Stunna was happy to see him, and they started hugging and everything went well from there.
The Mozambican-born TikTokker said he started performing at taverns and hasn't received a cent for it and people didn't notice him, and now he's getting gigs.
“Now, I'm receiving messages from people who want to work with and sponsor me. I even have more bookings now," Young Stinna said.
The SunTeam contacted Young Stunna’s team for comment, but his phone went to voicemail.
