Y PRESENTER DJ Zan-D urges young talents to show up at events.
The radio host and hip-hop DJ, whose real name is Zandi Ngwenya, said it's important for young talents to make themselves available and their brands visible to the world.
DJ Zan-D from Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, told Daily Sun that in this way they will get bookings and be known by their fans.
He shared a couple of tweets where he wanted to show how the industry operates.
"For some people, it takes slightly longer to make a breakthrough in the entertainment space, but if you have the love and passion for it,” he said.
The DJ said one needs to keep working on their talent and brand.
"Perfecting your craft is key, but you need to make sure that your brand is attractive. You need to attend an industry event and make sure you look great. It is important to keep healthy relationships," he said.

DJ Zan-D said people always speak about networking but never tell you how to network.
"The easier way to do that is to make friends with other like-minded people,” he said.
He said attending industry events, no matter how small or big, they are always help.
“It opens your eyes to how other people work.
"It’s important to be out in the streets and constantly pushing your social media for your brand," said the DJ.
His radio journey continues every Saturday on Y.
"The new radio show continues for another year for me. It’s called In The Ring every Saturday on YFM between 8pm and midnight, where I co-host with Just Mo."
"It’s a show I use to plug and promote upcoming DJs,” he said.
DJ Zan-D will release music in 2023 with the not-so-popular talent to open up the industry even more.
