MULTI-AWARD-WINNING gospel musician Phindile "Phindi P" Phewa is nominated for two big awards abroad and feels that 2024 is her year of success.
Phindi P has scooped four awards in Mzansi including two Crown Gospel Music Awards since she broke into the music scene in 2018.
The gospel star is now working with global musicians in her new music to take her career to another level.
The 35-year-old musician and radio presenter from Ezingolweni, KZN south coast is collaborating with Zimbabwean artist Janet Manyowa and Nigerian musician Peterson Okopi for her upcoming projects.
Phindi P, who is a presenter on Ukhozi FM, is nominated for a Ladies in Media Awards under Women in Music.
The awards will be held in Ghana from 28 to 30 March 2024.

The Ngobambelela hitmaker is also nominated at the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards in the USA for Best International Female Soloist.
The awards ceremony will be held at Houston Hobby Marriott Hotel in the USA from 15 to 18 February.
The gospel star, who presents the early morning religious show called Ulibo Lokuqala on Ukhozi FM, said it looks like her music career is going where she wants.
Phindi P said being nominated for the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards in the USA showed that her music is growing globally, and she hopes that it will also open many international doors for her.
“It's my first time being nominated abroad. Maybe I'll see myself performing on big international stages and getting more international recognition," she said.
