FORMER YoTV presenter Rorisang Thandekiso (33) has become a Good Samaritan to gogos.
This was after she came across grannies who were training in Soweto and she helped them to get training gear, including running shoes, from Adidas.
On Monday, 5 September, Rorisang shared videos about their journey and how wonderful it was for her to assist them.
She told Daily Sun that she wanted to see the gogos have the best time of their lives.
The presenter from Bloemfontein, Free State, said she was touched by their humility and wanting to do better for themselves.
“They are the greatest people and they have vast knowledge of so many things.
“I believe life isn’t about waiting. This is what I have learnt from them,.
“They are still going strong, despite their age.”

Rorisang teamed up with the takkies brand to make their dreams come true.
She said the brand helped them make takkies that would suit their feet.
“They were running along the road wearing uncomfortable takkies,” she said.
“They are now happy, and they can run happily.”
Rorisang said this was close to her heart.
“I wanted to show them love,” she said.
She said she was encouraged as she once had a knee injury.
“They made me believe that health is everything,” Rorisang said.
She told the People’s Paper that the gogos inspired her to go back to the gym when they shared stories of how they were keeping healthy.
“I look at my granny who is also a runner, and she never gives up easily when we’re running.”
