WITH everything going on in the world, he is most grateful for the little things.
TV presenter and actor Masego Maps Maponyane said that seeing people being able to wake up in the morning no matter what they are going through keeps him going in life.
The 33-year-old first came to the limelight as a model, but he pursued other careers, including TV hosting, acting, fashion and writing, among other business ventures.
He said that his family keeps him working harder.
“The idea of all the things that you can possibly get out of yourself and get out of life like curiosity and risk taking makes me work harder."
Maps said that people who push and follow their dreams despite their situations inspire him.

“Seeing the amount of incredible people who wake up every single morning no matter what they are going through, for them to go and make sure that they make something of their lives,” he said.
Maps said he likes people who are not demoralised by their situations.
“It's a reminder of who you are to complain about anything when people with very little can make something happen and they seem to be so happy as well,” he said.
The presenter said he finds joy in the little moments and everyone he encounters.
Maps said he's working on his directing on fashion and television.
“It's reminding me of how the desire to keep going in life should purely be the fact that you are alive to begin with and I think that life is what I am very grateful for.
“I have a new show that’s coming out next year which I can’t go into. I've been building more cool things away from the media entertainment,” he said.
