DJ Skinny Deep will be laid to rest today at Mabopane Cemetery in north of Tshwane.
The musician whose real name is Duduetsang Gift Maluleka (32), was shot and killed next to Giant Stadium in Soshanguve in Tshwane on Monday, 29 January, at around 7pm.
The family of the late musician said they demand justice and were still shocked about the incident.
His grandmother Dorothy Maluleka (74) said she last saw him saying goodbye and he will be back.
At the time of his death, he left his family with a friend going to Ga Rankuwa for business purposes.
The musician from Block U in Mabopane's death left his friends shocked.

"When there is loadshedding, my grandson will tell me about the timetable," said his gogo.
She said his friend broke the sad news to her at night and told her that Skinny Deep has been shot dead next Giant Stadium.
"My grandson was a good person and will always ask forgiveness if he has wronged someone," she said.
His life was celebrated and remembered at Mzansi Resorts (Mabopane Hall) former Morula Sun on 2 February.
Some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry celebrated his life.
